THE HOME BUYING PROCESS

STEP 1: GET PRE-APPROVED FOR A MORTGAGE

First you'll want to get pre-approved for a mortgage loan before you begin your home search. During your mortgage preapproval a mortgage professional will review your financial situation and verify your income and debt status. Once you've completed the pre-approval process, the mortgage professional will let you know just how much house you can afford to buy based on the loan amount you qualify for. STEP 2: SEARCH FOR YOUR HOME

Establish your specific wants and needs, such as number of bedrooms, bathrooms, location, and amenities. I will set up a search for all available properties that match your criteria and we'll schedule showings to tour homes in person. We can also set up a custom search based on your criteria and have the latest listings delivered straight to your inbox immediately when they hit the market.  

STEP 3: SUBMIT AN OFFER

Once you find the perfect home, you may decide you're ready to move forward with making an offer. We'll then discuss to determine a fair offer price, how much earnest money to put down, and establish any specific conditions or terms of the purchase, such as target closing date, who is responsible for closing costs, etc. We will submit your offer to the seller and hopefully it will be accepted! The seller may also decide to respond with a counteroffer, after that you have the option to counter this offer as well.

STEP 4: PREPARE FOR A SUCCESSFUL CLOSING

Your offer was accepted and you're now under contract! During this time, you'll need to get documentation to your lender (if you applied for a loan), choose a home inspector, and obtain your title and home insurance. Don't worry, I'll thoroughly walk you through each of these steps, can offer fabulous recommendations for any services you need and can answer any questions that may arise. As your Realtor, my job is to make this process as seamless as possible and help you meet all of your deadlines. In the end, all parties will sign paperwork and you'll walk away with the keys to your beautiful new home!
